How does Plasma Mitigation Work?

Plasmasphere™ generates a cold plasma discharge that consists of positive ions (H+ ) and negative ions (O2 – ) from water vapor in the air.

These ions have the property of clustering around oppositely charged microparticles and gases, and thus, they surround harmful substances such as airborne mold, virus, bacteria, volatile organic compounds, and allergens. At that point, a chemical reaction occurs on the cell membrane surface, and they are transformed into OH radicals, a powerfully active but unstable material, which robs the harmful substance of a hydrogen atom (H). As a result, they are inactivated by severing the protein on the cell membrane, opening holes. The OH radicals instantly bond with the removed hydrogen (H), forming water vapor (H2O), and return to the air.

Fresh outdoor air is first purified and then enriched with natural energy to levels found only in the most pristine natural environments. This pure natural air is then introduced DIRECTLY into our occupied spaces.

During critical off-season months, the fresh incoming air is slightly cooler and heavier than the ambient indoor temperature. This heavier air sinks immediately into the breathing zone where it is most effective.

Contaminants in our airspace exist in two forms; large droplet contaminations which drop quickly out of the breathing zone and microscopic aerosol particulates which stall and can remain in the airspace for hours.

The fresh outdoor air, charged with both positive and negative energy, is attracted and attaches to the oppositely charged aerosol particulates causing them to agglomerate (clump together).

This agglomerated particulate, having gained mass, drops out of the breathing zone and is more effectively captured by return air or stand-alone filtration systems.

Stale, contaminated air is continuously removed and discharged at the same volume as the introduction of incoming fresh, purified outdoor air. Thermal energy is captured from this outgoing air and transferred to the incoming air for maximum energy efficiency.

Positively charged hydrogen and negatively charged oxygen ions come together to form hydroxyls (OH) that harvest hydrogen from substances immobilizing the hydrogen-rich virus by destroying the spike protein.
